In 2024, SVID, in close collaboration with the Röhsska Museum and Svensk Form, is organising the Nordic & Baltic Design Summit 2024.

The purpose of the Nordic & Baltic Design Summit is to bring together Nordic and Baltic design and sustainability-driven companies and organisations, along with politicians, decision-makers, civil servants, and public representatives from ministries and departments in each country.

The theme of the conference is ”Design for a green, thriving, and socially sustainable Nordic and Baltic region”. We aim to establish collaboration and spread understanding of what is required to accelerate the transition and create a sustainable Nordic and Baltic region.

The Nordic & Baltic Design Summit will be a meeting place for networking, sharing experiences and ideas about the journey towards a green, competitive, and more socially sustainable society – using the power of design. The conference will take place in Gothenburg on 24–25 October, in connection to the opening of the Röhsska Museum’s new exhibition.
